Romanian-Iraqi Chamber of Business and Management is an non-governmental organization, with independent character, which supports  community and business interests, particularly those of its members in dialogue with both governments, Romanian and Iraqi, and their bodies.


Romanian-Iraqi Chamber of Business and Management  works to create a stable business environment between Romania and Iraq, consistent and conducive to private sector development from both countries.

ACTIVITIES
    

a) Supporting the development of industrial and commercial collaboration, as well as the tourism and service line , of its members, with companies from both states, including on regional level;

b) Supporting the achievement of development and economic cooperation projects;

c) Performing  activities of economic information and documentation;

d) Helping economic agents to achieve export-import trading activities;

e) Supporting the work of professional specialization of its members and other economic agents, as appropriate;

f) Initiates meetings and contacts between economic agents, as well business forums and other events that can develop cooperation between the two countries;

g) Supporting the organization of specialized exhibitions and fairs;

h) Promoting direct actions of business development on the both national markets, as well as at regional level, mediates bank support for its members, but also for other companies interested;

i) Edit publications of information and advertising;

j) Informing companies from Iraq and / or Romania, on export, import and cooperation possibilities;

k) Carry out business advice and management.

 OBJECTIVES
 

a) Providing information, from the association's and other institutions database, relating to Romanian  and Iraqi companies regarding economic legislation, standards and business rules;

b) Facilitating economic contracts between companies from Romania and Iraq, based on offers from various fields;

c) Informing the companies in terms of investment proposals and the possibility of business opportunities;
 
d) Supporting the societies from Iraq and Romania, in terms of their ties with local and central authorities of the both countries in order to develop investment projects;

e) Supporting for businessmen participation in exhibitions, fairs etc;

f) Supporting the participation of companies from Romania and Iraq to biannual and multiannual;

g) Supporting for participation in European Union partnership business programs;

h) Providing access to seminars, debates, meetings, congresses, etc.;
 
i) Organizing events and trade missions in Iraq;

j) Support and assistance to students from Iraq in order to obtain the necessary visas and agreements in higher education in Romania;

k) Facilitating contracts between universities, schools, educational and cultural centers in Romania and Iraq;

l) Promotion of Romanian tourism in Iraq;

m) Promotion of Romanian education in Iraq and vice versa, facilitating exchanges of experience and professional training, between the two countries;

n) Reconsideration of exports to Iraq market as a priority;

o) Identification the products and services have the chance to enter the Iraqi market;
 
p) Identification in Romania of the potential vendors and service providers that want to become exporters in Iraq;

q) Unification, as much as possible, the approaches of manufacturers, services providers and exporters which have objective Iraqi market;

r) Developing and adopting a work program of the commerce chambers, professional associations and employers, regarding the exports to Iraq;

s) Establishment and implementation in Romania and Iraq of means and mechanisms to support Romanian exporters and minimize the risks in Roman-Iraqi bilateral trade relations;

t) Development and extension of marketing-consultancy services implementing for Romanian exporters, in order to streamline the exports and to reduce the risks.
